Exterior Detailing in Chilliwack

Hand wash, polish, protect. Wheels, tires, glass, lights and exhaust tips included — and never an automatic brush.

Washed by hand, every time

Every exterior job starts with a pre-rinse and a hand wash. Automatic brushes are how most paint picks up its swirl marks in the first place, so we do not use them. From there it is wheels, wheel wells, tires, trim, glass, headlights and taillights, and the exhaust tips.

Fraser Valley weather does specific things to paint: winter road salt, spring tree sap, summer bug fallout, and the fine grit that comes off gravel shoulders year-round. All of it etches if it sits.

Then protected, so it lasts

A wash that is not followed by protection is a wash that lasts until the next rain. Clay bar and wax adds a protective layer; a cut and polish corrects the paint underneath it first; a ceramic coating adds protection that is measured in years. Which one makes sense depends on the paint and how the car lives.

FAQ

Questions we get asked.

Do you use an automatic wash?

No. Everything is washed by hand. Automatic brushes are one of the main causes of the swirl marks we later get asked to polish out.

Can you get road tar and tree sap off?

Yes. Both are routine here. They take extra time and carry an additional charge, along with fallout and heavy oxidation — we quote it when we see the vehicle.

How often should I have the exterior done?

It depends on where the car sleeps and what it drives through. A garaged commuter is a different animal from a truck parked under a maple. Call and describe it — we have been guessing this correctly for a long time.
